Saturday, June 18, 2016
8:00 a.m.    Tuning Rooms will open.
9:00 a.m.    Amateur Piobaireachd will commence.
2:00 p.m.    Amateur MS&R will commence after lunch.

You will receive your selection and order of play, one to two weeks prior to the competition date. In order that this may be accomplished in a timely manner, the entry deadline for all competitions is May 21, 2016.

The Amateur Competitions are restricted to Grade I competitors. Each contestant will submit four (4) Piobaireachd selections of their own choice. The contestant will be required to play one selection.

The March, Strathspey and Reel Competition requires each contestant to submit four marches, four strathspeys and four reels. The contestant will be required to play one set.

The competitor with the highest point accumulation from the Piobaireachd and MS&R competitions will receive round trip airfare to Scotland and two weeks tuition at an approved venue in Scotland. The overall winner also receives the USPF Silver Buckle. Scholarships will be awarded to approved Piping Schools to the top five places. In the event of a tie the over-all winner will be determined by a piobaireachd preference.
